This is then followed by the beverage of your choice with an amuse bouche and warm towels, but with such a large business class cabin, service can take time.

Throughout the flight, small bites were available, ranging from the corn soup as mentioned above to Japanese udon noodles garnished with mixed vegetable and shrimp tempura. One highlight is ANA's curry here and steamed rice.

You can adjust your seat from a panel in the side console, and it's incredibly customizable. Not only is there a slider at the top to recline or sit back up to your heart's content in addition to some preset buttons for lie-flat, upright, and dining, but you can also move your seat forward and backward – perfect for when you need to slide out in the middle of meal service. That's something far too many airlines miss.
